But let there be no scales to weigh your unknown treasure;
And seek not the depths of your knowledge with staff or sounding line.
For self is a sea boundless and measureless.

Say not, "I have found the truth," but rather, "I have found a truth."
Say not, "I have found the path of the soul." Say rather, "I have met the soul walking upon my path."
For the soul walks upon all paths.
The soul walks not upon a line, neither does it grow like a reed.
The soul unfolds itself like a lotus of countless petals.

So I felt I needed to write this and share it with all you beautiful people and more… I hope you can derive something from what I am sharing to cultivate a new level of insight and understanding in your own life...

Namaste!

Lots of love,

"Surrender, accept and then simply let go..."

Ruin:
a archaic : a falling down : collapse <from age to age … the crash of ruin fitfully resounds — William Wordsworth>b : physical, moral, economic, or social collapse
a : the state of being ruined —archaic except in plural <the city lay in ruins>b : the remains of something destroyed —usually used in plural <the ruins of an ancient temple> <the ruins of his life>

In this game of life we find ourselves in situations that in the moment of occurrence could not seem more awful, discouraging and disheartening. These occurrences, mistakes, bad luck or regret, whatever you wish to call them seem to be disguised beneath veils of unnoticed perpetual teachers.

It seems to me our experiences, mistakes and relationships are our greatest teachers in life. They shed our layers and dig into our core testing us. Testing our strength, our ability to grow in times of conflict and probably most important- our ability to surrender. It is the human condition to blame ourselves and in that blame to become reclusive from the world and bury inside ourselves with a hollowed feeling of failure and self scrutinizing thought of'never being good enough'. We lead our lives moving from place to place, searching for something, something to complete ourselves, and what is it? a feeling, a person, what will complete us and essentially make us happy. What we do not always realize, is that its right inside of ourselves. We just need to recognize it- if we cannot, then no one else will.  If you can reopen that door of self; being able to forgive yourself always and know you are worth everything this universe has to offer then the vacuum of the universe will pull in a whole new cornucopia of love, pleasure, thoughtfulness and self knowledge which will bring you to a whole new plain of understanding, allowing you to live in those precious moments you never thought could stay.

But very much like the new growth in the wilderness after a forest fire, this can only happen once a shift in yourself occurs. Know that this can never be found in anyone but yourself. (God, your thinking I know this but in the moment its so damn hard to remember!) You make yourself complete, with self love- you then draw in the love of the universe and all of those that surround you. Whatever you hold a space for in life, you attract. Trust me when I say this, I know this well… It is the secret of life you cannot read in a classic novel or find in any textbook. You have to find it deep down inside of yourself and know in your heart and gut that you are worth it. Know you are beautiful and capable of anything and everything in this world which YOU create.

we settle for misery in life because we are afraid of change, of our lives crumbling to ruins. But what we do not understand is that RUIN IS A GIFT, it is our gateway to transformation. And with that transformation and foresight we can cultivate new pathways and doors to new ways of life we had no idea were possible. It's parallel to the analogy we all know, of the phoenix rising from the ashes; when something dies, it merely transforms into something new and stronger than before.

But we tend to stay in safe situations, some of us for our whole lives because the possibility of changing is far too scary to comprehend. And it is, it can be damn scary! If you can take time, time way deep down inside yourself to live in your messy wounds, you can befriend them in some kind of fashion, understand them and learn to comprehend the purpose of that chaos, and how this chaos serves you. Because it does, for a short while, but with time a lesson can and must be derived from this chaos, in order for us to widen or perception and to vary our understanding of our environment and the relationships we fall into. (We do make the soul choice, but at times it does feel like a free fall, I will tell you that)

Look around you, especially in your relationships and you will see these people you draw to you are there for a reason. You will find that the people that hurt us the most, that anger us the most and test us to our greatest lengths ARE our soul mates. (I know it sounds ridiculous) Because it is from these people we learn the most. change is constant, it stirs us in the most difficult of ways, strengthens us. But remember strength doesn't harden us, it makes us more capable of love than ever before because it teaches us to surrender, accept and let go... When you come into contact with a thought of someone or a feeling of bitterness, hold them in place, send them love and care and then simply drop that thought... just like that. Hold no draw to it, just let it go. With this teaching you will remember to hold yourself first and no one else.

Thank you xx
